To win the First division for Oz Powerball, you will need to correctly select the first Six numbers out of a possible 40 (1-40), you will also need to correctly guess the Powerball number selected from a different set of 20 numbers (1-20). There is a total of 8 different divisions giving you a great chance of getting a win.

Changes to the game came into effect on March 7th 2013. Changing the guess range from 5 numbers from 45 to 6 numbers out of 40 and the powerball from a selection of 45 to a selection out of 20.

The changes made reflect changes in US Powerball and will ensure larger jackpots are on offer.

The largest win to date was July 2009 where two winners shared a jackpot prize of AU$80 Million.
